Job Description:
Our client is looking to hire an IT Systems Manager that will be responsible for leading a systems administration, and networking infrastructure group.
The role will be 50% hands-on technical and 50% team leadership.
Must have experience leading a team of 5
engineers supporting an enterprise IT infrastructure environment.
Responsibilities Lead a team of Systems Administrators overseeing core infrastructure and systems Oversee and manage the team's project portfolio Guide future direction of IT infrastructure through analysis, interaction with stakeholders, development of business proposals and budgeting Vendor management and relations including contract negotiation Manage day-to-day business as usual operations of the team Provide performance reports and updates to senior IT leadership Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels Requirements 5
years direct technical and team lead experience Proven experience leading a team of 5
system administrators/engineers Hands on technical working experience with:
Windows Server (2008R2, 2012R2 and 2016) Microsoft applications/services:
RDS, Exchange, SQL Server, AD, SharePoint Networking and core system infrastructure:
Cisco, cloud based backups, security Virtualization:
(VMware, HyperV, Azure) BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related field MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Server+/Linux+, CCNA a plus Required Skills:
MICROSOFT SERVERS; CISCO TECHNOLOGIES; TEAM MANAGEMENT OF 5 OR MORE ENGINEERS.
