DutiesDeveloping and maintaining key relationships with the Director of Training, The Center staff in Online Education, Diversity & Belonging, and Leadership Integration, and Area Ministries staff (collectively ministry partners) to collaborate and create Joni and Friends online education and training coursework through Canvas and other platformsUsing content provided by the Director of Training and subject matter experts, creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content based on identified training needsApplying tested instructional design theories, practice, and methodsEvaluating and implementing best practices regarding online accessibility, copyright, universal design, alignment with course learning objectives, continuing education standards, and overall use of Canvas and other platforms that enhance the learning experienceEstablishing procedures to maintain quality control and complete all deliverables when dueAssisting in identifying, assessing, and using available tools for data analyticsGathering feedback to assess effectiveness and identifying areas for improvementAssisting with Canvas support including content uploads, user support, and reporting functionsOther duties and projects as assigned by the Supervisor to support department and organizational needsQualificationsMust possess a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with the Joni and Friends statement of faithDesire to serve in a growing and dynamic Christian service ministryBS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similarSolid experience with Learning Management Systems, specifically CanvasBasic HTML knowledge for use in Learning Management SystemsAdobe Creative Apps or other visual design tools for use as media in online courseworkProven work experience in instructional design and with instructional technologyExcellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design modelsLesson and curriculum planning skillsAbility to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scriptsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyMust be able to travel, domestically and internationally, and work evenings and weekends as neededAble to work effectively with Joni and Friends' service departments to leverage partnerships for ministry successUnderstanding of Christian ministry and specifically Joni and Friends is desirableCompensation for this position is $58,000 - $65,000 depending upon location, as it can be a remote position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
