Reporting to the Director, Staff Relations you will work amongst a dynamic team at The Cheesecake Factory corporate support enter in Calabasas Hills, CA.
As the Staff Relations Specialist you will play an integral part in assisting with staff and manager concerns for a $3.
3 billion public company with over 300 full-service restaurants and more than 47,500 staff members.
This includes, initial intake of staff complaints, conducting investigations, reviewing, writing, and assisting management with delivering disciplinary notices and recommendations on employment decisions, including terminations.

ResponsibilitiesHere's more of what you'll get to do:
Conduct investigations and support general inquiries involving a broad range of business management subject matters and/or Human Resources situations (e.
g.
claims of harassment, policy violations, etc.
).
Provides support, advice and counsel to key stake holders, Operations Leadership, and employees regarding personnel practices, policy, and employment laws and provides recommended courses of action.
Administer a broad range of tasks including resolving staff member complaints, providing guidance to supervisors and employees on the interpretation of policies, procedures.
Upholds business practices and applies knowledge to ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and company guidelines, laws, and employment regulations.
Models the company's core mission, vision and values while practicing and promoting integrity and ethical behavior.
Create Key Reporting utilizing the case management system, Ethics Point for analysis.
Analyze and dissect Data/Case Analysis to support investigative findings.
Ensure adherence to company and legal processes for policies and procedures.
QualificationsWhat we require:

years of Employee Relations/Investigations experience Demonstrated knowledge of employment law Knowledgeable of Human Resources best practices Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to use a high level of tact, diplomacy, discretion and empathy/understanding in a business environment with a diverse employee base What we prefer:
